Tumult Hype is a macOS application used to create animated and interactive web content. Hype allows you to produce content, such as web pages, animations, eCards, eBooks, and presentations without having to code a single line.

The application provides a keyframe-based animation system that allows you to record the movement of different elements, such as images, buttons, and text, and then edit them in the application's timeline. Hype features scenes that enable you to separate your content and simplify animation flow, as well as specify layouts that respond to different screen sizes. You can insert actions into your content to trigger scene transitions, sounds, animations, and JavaScript functions that respond to mouse clicks, specific times, touch events, and document events.

Hype provides built-in support for HTML5 audio and video and a variety of CSS3 effects to generate multimedia experiences. If you have the knowledge to code you can also directly edit parts of the HTML and JavaScript. You can verify the content you create by viewing it in different web browsers and Hype warns of any browser incompatibilities. When you're finished, you can export your content to HTML5, MP4 Video, Animated GIF, and iBooks Author or share directly to Dropbox.

Hype is used by novice and expert developers to create interactive web content. It gives you a variety of powerful animation tools while allowing you to directly edit code to make custom changes not supported by the application. However, Hype should not be used to create multi-page website as it lacks important HTML and CSS editing capabilities but if you are looking for a tool to create animated and interactive content, a Tumult Hype is a quality application.
